4 new rail stations to be built in Baku for 7 years

October 9, Fineko/abc.az. 20 passenger stations are planned to be reconstructed, activated or built on the Absheron Peninsula until the end of 2027, according to the Baku General Plan presented to the public.

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the plan it is expected the construction 4 new railway stations along the North-South Corridor between the Balajari and Baku railway stations. In addition, it is planned to reconstruct the railway infrastructure running through Lokbatan settlement and provide services as a passenger station, opening regular suburban rail runs from Lokbatan to Baku railway station.
