October 13, Fineko/abc.az. The extension of the Ganja-Georgian border section of M2 highway is ongoing, ABC.AZ was informed at the State Motor Road Agency.

The section of the highway covering 503 km from Baku to the border with Georgia, to the city of Ganja, has been improved to the first technical degree in different years.

Currently, the project on the expansion of four lanes of the part (130 km long) of Ganja-Gazakh highway - the state border with Georgia is being implemented. Construction & installation works on the highway are carried out without interrupting the comfortable and unhindered movement of citizens, in accordance with the requirements of the Building Norms & Rules.
