October 14, Fineko/abc.az. The operational-tactical ballistic missile systems of Armenia were launched from radars this morning and aimed at Ganja, Mingachevir and other cities of Azerbaijan.

In order to save the lives of civilians, a preemptive strike neutralized missile systems that are legitimate military targets.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev.

He noted that the Ministry of Defence of Armenia itself was forced to admit that these missiles were put on alert.

"This morning, from 7 am, the city of Terter and the villages of Aghdam are under fire. One person was killed. As a result of a shell falling into the courtyard of a secondary school in Duyerli village, 8 people were injured. More than 100 shells were dropped. Among the wounded are members of the film crew of the Azerbaijani state television. Azerbaijan adheres to the humanitarian truce. But in case of missile and other attacks from the territory of Armenia on military and civilian objects of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan reserves the right to neutralize them as legitimate military targets," Hajiyev said.
