Employment rating of salaried employees by sphere

October 14, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan has published a number of indicators recorded in the Azerbaijani economy for Jan-Aug 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that for the reported term 19.4% of salaried employees were employed in education, 18.3% in trade, vehicle repair, 13.2% in industry, 8.3% in construction, 8.2% in medical and social services, and 6.6% in public administration and defense; social security, 4.5% in transport and warehousing, 3.4% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 3.4% in professional, scientific and technical activities, 1.7% in financial and insurance activities, and 13.0% in other areas of the economy.
