October 14, Fineko/abc.az. This step of Azerbaijan is in accordance with international laws, since, according to international law, Azerbaijan has the right to strike military targets that pose a threat to security.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev at a briefing with the participation of ambassadors and military attaches of foreign countries in connection with the rocket attack on peaceful cities of Azerbaijan by the Armenian armed forces.

The presidential aide noted that today our military found that SCUD missile launchers were put on alert just 2-3 km from the Azerbaijani border on the territory of Armenia.

"We’ve taken measures to neutralize these missile systems in order to ensure the safety of Azerbaijani citizens," Hajiyev said.
