Georgia imposes bans in some cities over Covid-19

October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Restaurants and entertainment centers in Tbilisi and Imereti region will stop operating from 10 pm on 16 October in connection with the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in Georgia.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Georgian Prime Minister George Gakharia. He noted that the number of infected people is expected to increase in the coming days.

"We have decided that restaurants and entertainment centers will stop working in Tbilisi and Imereti from tomorrow. The number of infections is increasing every day, and in the coming days the number of the infected is expected to exceed 1,000 cases," Gakharia said.
