Azerbaijani Industrial Corporation displeased with process of cotton production

February 7, Fineko/ The Azerbaijani Industrial Corporation is dissatisfied with the quality of the cotton production process and bringing it to the end user.

AIC CEO Kamran Nabizadeh said that there are many shortcomings in the sphere of cotton manufacture, and the Corporation's management is aware of them.

"Last year, depending on districts of the country, 12 quintals, 17 quintals and 18 quintals of the cotton crop were collected, and this shows low profitability of manufacturing enterprises. So, companies engaged in the production of cotton should eliminate existing shortcomings, in particular, optimize costs, including costs on the purchase and use of equipment, and ensure transparency of all processes," Nabizadeh said.
