Azerbaijan`s Labor Minister: Armenian terror in spotlight of WB

Despite the fact that a humanitarian truce was declared on 10 October, Armenia, in gross violation of this agreement, as well as the norms and principles of international law, launched SCUD–type ballistic missiles at apartment buildings in Azerbaijan's second largest city, Ganja, located outside the front-line zone.

ABC.AZ reports that Sahil Babayev, the Labor & Social Protection Minister of Azerbaijan, said this at an online meeting with the World Bank's mission on the employment support project in Azerbaijan.

The minister noted that as a result of another terror attack by the aggressor Armenia, 10 people were killed, including children and women, as well as elderly people, and 34 people were injured. He stressed that as a result of the attacks by the Armenian armed forces on the civilian population since 27 September, 43 civilians were killed and 214 ones injured and serious damage was caused to 277 civilian facilities, 66 multi-apartment residential buildings, and 1,505 private houses.
