WB forecast: Consumer market in Azerbaijan to reduce

October 15, Fineko/abc.az. The World Bank has published a forecast on the consumer market in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that the forecast was noted in the WB’s updated report on Europe and Central Asia.

According to the report, this year country’s consumer market will shrink by 5.2%. It was noted that this indicator will grow by 1.3% in 2021 and by 2.2% in 2022. Although the WB's April forecast noted that the consumer market of Azerbaijan will grow by 0.5% in 2020, by 3.2% in 2021, and by 3.3% in 2022.
