October 15 report, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 October 2020 Georgia's debt to Azerbaijan totals $5.685 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the report of the Georgian Finance Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

Compared with the previous month, neighboring country’s debt to Azerbaijan remained unchanged.

The report says that Georgia’s total external public debt by the reporting date is $6.76 bn, including $6.5 bn that account for the government. Georgia's debt to Turkey, Russia and Armenia remained at the level of $10.959 million, $43.134 million and $5.954 million, respectively.

The countries to which Georgia has owed the most are France ($554.7 million), Germany ($495 million) and Japan ($215.1 million).
