Baku Metro closes – Restrictions under return

October 16, Fineko/abc.az. In recent days, a number of countries, including Azerbaijan, have seen a sharp growth on cases of infection with new type of coronavirus (Covid-19).

ABC.AZ informs that taking into account the existing sanitary and epidemiological situation, the Task Froce under the Cabinet Ministers has taken a decision to introduce a range of restrictions within the special quarantine regime.

Under the decision, passenger transportation in the Baku Metro will be suspended from 19 October to 2 November 2020.

The Cabinet’s decision also says that for the period of strict quarantine the number of employees in state institutions is reduced to 30% of the staff, and the remaining employees are transferred to remote work. Similar measures are recommended for institutions and organizations working in the private sector and other spheres.
