October 19, Fineko/abc.az. Top officials of Azerbaijan held a meeting for representatives of the diplomatic corps in our country.

ABC.AZ reports that at the meeting presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev noted that despite the agreement on humanitarian ceasefire signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia on 10 October, a little later the city of Ganja, located outside the combat zone, was shelled by Armenia.

He said that there were no military facilities in Ganja, just that Armenia is shooting at the civilian population: “Armenia is governed by the law of the jungle. What happened in Ganja was a clear violation of right to life by Armenia. They thought that by targeting the civilian population, they would be able to break the will of the Azerbaijani people."
