October 21, Fineko/abc.az. The production and export of Azerbaijan’s mineral resources is going to increase with the liberation of Zangilan from occupation.

ABC.AZ reports that this was informed by Nijat Hajizadeh, the department head of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

He noted that there are 155 different types of mineral deposits in the liberated and still being liberated economic regions: gold, silver, copper, iron, zinc, granite, marble, precious stones, fire clay and other minerals.

"Zangilan region has unique opportunities for foreign trade, having corridors adjacent to the two countries. From angle of transit, the region has a feature that can contribute to the further development of trade relations with Iran," Hajizadeh emphasized.
