Azerbaijan`s credit ratings may be lowered in this case

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. International rating agency S&P Global Ratings may downgrade Azerbaijan's credit ratings if the financial situation or external balance deteriorates as a result of the ongoing military confrontation, accelerated dollarization and outflow of dollar deposits.

ABC.AZ informs that this was stressed in S&P’s report.

It was noted that increased pressure on the rating may also occur as a result of the country's unregulated exit from the managed exchange rate regime.

"Improvement in the outlook on Azerbaijan's rating may occur against the background of reducing long-term uncertainty caused by the conflict and preventing a negative impact on Azerbaijan's financial, balance of payments and growth indicators," the report says.
