Oil prices rise after decline the day before, and Brent is at $40.76 per barrel

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. Oil is increasing in price in Tuesday’s trading after the decrease of prices to minimum over the last 3 weeks amid the news of oil production growth in Libya.

By 9:15 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the Brent crude futures for December grew in price by $0.30 (0.74%) up to $40.76 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 October the price of Brent crude futures for December fell by $1.31 (3.14%) to $40.46 per barrel.

By 9:15 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI crude futures for December increased by $0.23 (0.6%) up to $38.79 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 October the December WTI futures slumped in price by $1.29 (3.24%) to $38.56.
