Over Jan-Sept Azerbaijani banks’ deposit portfolio decreased

October 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has published a number of banking sector indicators for the past 9 months of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Central Bank's statistical data, the liabilities of the domestic banking sector lowered by 2.5% to AZN 25.99 bn for Jan-Sept 2020.

The deposit portfolio also decreased (by 3.4%) and amounted to AZN 19.38 bn. Of them, retail deposits amount to AZN 7.716 bn and legal entities’ deposits AZN 11.66 bn.
