Azerbaijan to provide fiber-optic Internet for 100 more schools in 2021

October 30, Fineko/abc.az. Education Minister Emin Amrullayev has conducted a briefing.

ABC.AZ reports that at the briefing the minister raised the issue of low Internet speed in some districts of Azerbaijan.

He added that this process cannot be solved in the shortest possible time: "There is an opinion in the society that if everyone gets a tablet, the problem will be solved. This is not the case, we have a plan that is being implemented in stages in connection with the expansion of the Internet network. Next year, we plan to provide 100 more schools with fiber-optic Internet.”
