First agricultural insurance contract signed in this district – State to cover 50%

November 4, Fineko/abc.az. The first agricultural insurance contract was signed yesterday between the Agricultural Insurance Fund and a local farmer in Terter district.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan’s first state-supported agricultural insurance contract was signed with farmer Habil Ibragimli in Beyimsarov village of Terter district, which was subjected to prolonged military aggression by Armenia.

Under this contract, 50 heads of cattle of the farmer are insured against current risks. 50% of the insurance amount will be paid by the State, and the farmer will pay the remaining amount in installments.
