Azerbaijan brings prudential regulation up to international standards

February 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Markets Supervision Chamber of Azerbaijan held a meeting devoted to the results of activity in 2017.

During the meeting Chamber’s CEO Ibrahim Alishov stated that long-term regulatory measures were taken in 2017.

"With this purpose the Chamber has developed the projects aimed at making prudential regulation documents to conform to international experience and these processes will be continued. In the formation of the new regulatory framework, the Chamber paid particular attention to financial market participants and held discussions with sectoral associations," Alyshov said.
