November 6, Fineko/abc.az. Despite the ongoing military operations on the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation, the country will not cancel its plans to supply natural gas to southern Europe.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Elshad Nasirov, SOCAR vice president for investment & marketing.

According to Nasirov, this month the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) will be ready to receive annually 10 bn cu m of gas produced by the Shah Deniz gas condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

"In just two weeks, a new section of infrastructure (Southern Gas Corridor) will be ready," Nasirov said.

It is planned to deliver Azerbaijani gas to Europe until the end of this year.
