November 10, Fineko/abc.az. On 10 November, President Ilham Aliyev had a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

ABC.AZ reports that the two heads of state congratulated each other on the occasion of the brilliant victory of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh war.

President Aliyev once again expressed gratitude to the Turkish president and the Turkish people for their political and moral support to Azerbaijan during the war.

The both leaders noted that their friendly and fraternal countries and peoples will continue to be close to each other.

During the phone conversation the establishment of the Turkish-Russian peacekeeping center for monitoring the ceasefire was highly appreciated, and confidence was expressed that this center will contribute to ensuring long-term peace in the region.
