Georgian government lowers its economic growth forecast for 2021

November 12, Fineko/abc.az. The forecast of economic growth is set at the level of 4.3% in the State Budget of Georgia for 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by the country's Finance Minister Ivane Machavariani.

According to the minister, economic growth of 5% was initially forecast for the next year, but the spread of the coronavirus (COVID) has led to the need to revise the forecast.

He also noted that the updated version of the country’s budget will be submitted to the Georgian parliament until 30 November.
