A Georgian citizen who took part in Karabakh battles arrested

November 12, Fineko/abc.az. Vahagn Chakhalyan, a native of the Samchhe-Javakheti region of Georgia and known for his radicalism, who participated in the fighting in Nagorno-Karabakh, has been arrested during the actions in Yerevan.

ABC.AZ reports that he was detained this afternoon at about 11 am by the National Security Service.

No specific charges have been filed against Chakhalyan. However, in recent days, Chakhalyan has joined the protests in the Armenian capital, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
