Azerbaijan’s head met with European Commission’s Vice-President for Energy Union

February 15, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has met with Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President for Energy Union of the European Commission.

The Presidential Administration’s press service informs that today President Aliyev has met Maroš Šefčovič, who also co-chairs the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor.

"During the meeting the Azerbaijani leader expressed gratitude to Mr. Šefčovič for his personal support to the Southern Gas Corridor and for financing of this project by the European Investment Bank (EIB)," it was reported.
