Oil prices fall after rising the day before, and Brent is at $44.12 a barrel

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are decreased in Thursday’s trading amid the concerns that the demand will lower because of the growing incidence of Covid-19 around the world.

By 9:33 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of January’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.22 (0.5%) to $44.12 per barrel. At the end of trading on 18 November the Brent futures for January rose in price by $0.59 (1.35%) up to $44.34 per barrel.

By 9:33 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI crude futures for December reduced by $0.33 (0.79%) to $41.49 per barrel. At the end of trading on 18 November the December WTI futures rose by $0.39 (0.94%) up to $41.82.

In the course of previous trading sessions, the oil prices increased more than by 4% amid the news about the success of trials of several coronavirus vaccines.
