Bread to be of higher quality –state wheat standard approved

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has endorsed State Standard AZS 888:2020, “Wheat. Technical Conditions”, which contains new, stricter requirements for the quality of raw materials to provide the population with healthy and high-quality flour and bakery products.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Antimonopoly & Consumer Market Supervision Service, the new standard will also provide control over the process of supply (storage) of high-quality wheat.

The State Standard was developed by the SACMSS Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization under the Ministry of Economy.
