Number of schools and pupils in Aghdam announced

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Statistics on the educational sector of the Aghdam district liberated from occupation has been published.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Education that before the occupation in 1992-93 this district numbered 99 educational institutions.

They enrolled 29,478 students, and the number of teachers amounted to 2,966 people. Currently, for the 2020-2021 academic years, there are 135 educational institutions in Aghdam district, where 24,608 students are receiving education and 2,997 teachers are working.
