President Ilham Aliyev: Aghdam operation was planned, we would have taken Agdam anyway

November 24, Fineko/abc.az. It's too early to reveal all the secrets of the war. Over time, many interesting questions will be revealed. But today I can say that the operation was planned in Aghdam. We would have taken Agdam anyway.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev within his visit to the liberated city of Aghdam.

The head of state added that losses were expected however, and in large numbers: "Therefore, after the liberation of Shusha and more than 70 of our villages on 9 November, the enemy's spine was broken, he surrendered, raised the white flag, fulfilled my conditions and admitted defeat."
