Construction of a road to Shusha begins

November 24, Fineko/abc.az. The length of the Ahmadbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha road construction project will be 101.5 km, and the total width of the road will be 37.7 m.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Motor Road Agency that the main part of the new highway will consist of four lanes.

In addition, the project includes the construction of a reserve lane with an additional wide roadway in each direction. It is planned that the road together with the spare lanes will consist of six lanes.

New highway Fizuli-Shusha runs through the liberated Fizuli, Khojavend and Khojali districts, starting from the section of road M6 Hajigabul-Bahramtapa-Minjivan - the state border of Armenia, passing through the village of Ahmadbeyli in Fizuli district. The highway will cover more than 20 populated localities in these districts, including the cities of Fizuli and Shusha.
