November 25, Fineko/abc.az. A general plan and tariff policy will be prepared in connection with the parking of cars in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Tarlan Safarov, the head of the Traffic Management Department of the Baku Transport Agency (BTA), speaking at the Online Baku City Forum.

According to Safarov, this plan will be presented first to the public, and then its application will begin.

According to the Agency's representative, an international consulting company that analyzes parking issues has been invited to work in this direction.

"Of course, parking management in general is the most important factor in urban transport infrastructure as it affects both the activities of entrepreneurs and congestion. Today we can say that parking in Baku is free, so there is a problem of congestion," Safarov emphasized.
