Internal Affairs Ministry: Those who fail to observe quarantine rules to be sued

November 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges Azerbaijani citizens to comply with the quarantine rules.

ABC.AZ reports that the MIA statement says that the Ministry’s staff has to work harder to ensure the requirements of the quarantine regime in all cities and districts of the country, strictly control the observance by citizens of sanitary-hygienic rules for prevention of epidemics, the isolation is of the Covid-19 infected persons and those who are under treatment at home.

There are cases when people infected with the virus, contrary to the rules of the special quarantine regime, leave their homes, despite the appointment of treatment at home. On 25 November, police and internal troops at quarantine posts found that 19 virus-infected patients were moving freely, putting the health of others at risk. In accordance with the law, a criminal case has been initiated against these individuals.
