Oil cheapens, and Brent is at $47.66 a barrel

November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The benchmark oil prices are declining in Friday’s trading due to concerns about a rise of Covid-19 infection rate.

By 9:34 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of January Brent crude futures fell by $0.14 (0.29%) to $47.66 per barrel. At the end of trading on 26 November the Brent futures for January fell in price by $0.81 (1.67%) to $47.80 per barrel.

By 9:30 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for January fell in price by $0.86 (1.88%) to $44.85 per barrel. Trading on 26 November on the NYMEX was not held in connection with holiday, the Thanksgiving Day.
