November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani population made 38.109 million non-cash payments for AZN 1.678 bn through POS terminals in the country for Jan-Oct 2020 versus 19.77 payments for AZN 1.52 bn for Jan-Oct 2019), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

This means that the total amount of transactions increased by AZN 626 million or 59.5% compared with the same term of 2019, while the number of transactions grew by 18.337 million or 92.7%.

In October 2020 the non-cash payments for AZN 200 million were made through POS-terminals within 4.278 million transactions. In October 2019, those figures amounted to AZN 114 million within 2.426 million payment operations.
