December 1, Fineko/abc.az. The amount of money in Russian rubles sold to the population by banks in Azerbaijan in October this year amounted to 163.137 million rubles (by 14.2% less than in September and 50.9% less than a year earlier).

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank, the amount of money in rubles sold by banks to the population reached 2.355 bn rubles for Jan-Oct.

This, in turn, means a decrease of 21.4% compared with Jan-Oct 2019.

In addition, in October, the total money supply of the country's population in banks amounted to 1.253 bn rubles (by 6.1% less on a monthly basis and 2.7% less on an annual basis). According to the report, population's money supply for Jan-Oct 2020 amounted to 11.408 bn rubles.

This is 10.6% versus the same period of last year.
