December 3, Fineko/abc.az. The 7th International Energy Forum - the gas forum of ministers of the International Gas Union has been held today.

ABC.AZ reports that the event was also attended by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov.

At the event it was noted that the projected volume of gas in Azerbaijan this year will be 38 bn cu m, in 2023 about 50 bn cu m, and annual production from the Shah Deniz field, which is the main source of the Southern Gas Corridor, will reach 18.7 bn cu m this year, and 25.3 bn cu m in 2023. It was noted that so far about 133 bn cu m of gas have been extracted from this field, and more than 88.6 bn cu m of gas have been exported.
