Oil prices rise, and Brent is at $49.66 a barrel

December 4, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are steadily increasing in Friday’s trading and may show growth for the fifth week in a row.

By 9:20 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of February Brent crude futures grew by $0.95 (1.95%) up to $49.66 per barrel. At the end of trading on 3 December the Brent futures for February rose in price by $0.46 (0.95%) up to $48.71 per barrel.

By 9:20 a, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for January increased by $0.76 (1.67%) up to $46.40 per barrel. At the end of trading on 3 December the WTI oil futures for January rose in price by $0.36 (0.8%) up to $45.64 per barrel.
