December 4, Fineko/abc.az. The food price index, announced monthly by the UN Food & Agriculture Organization, rose 3.9% in November and made 105 points.

ABC.AZ informs that the organization stated that food prices have been rising continuously for 6 months.

The organization noted that this figure is the highest estimate since 2014.

"The sugar price index tends to increase due to the fact that adverse weather conditions weaken crop expectations in the European Union, Thailand and the Russian Federation. The dairy index is also growing due to Europe's growing requirements for cheese, milk and butter," FAO said.
