December 8, Fineko/abc.az. Yagut Garayeva, department head of the Board of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBİB), has raised the issue of self-treatment of patients with coronavirus at home.

ABC.AZ reports that at today's briefing of Covi-19 Task Force it was noted that patients' attempts to treat themselves at home lead to deterioration of their condition. Garayeva noted that at home you can only use vitamins, observe bed rest and drink a lot of fluids: "Some blood-thinning drugs can be taken on the recommendation of a doctor, after determining the dosage. Do not use steroids, antibiotics, or antiviral medications without a doctor's recommendation. For example, information about dexamethasone has spread, even pharmacies recommend it to patients. Taking dexamethasone without a doctor's consultation and examination only worsens the patient's condition”.
