December 11, Fineko/abc.az. Compared with Jan-Oct 2019 Azerbaijan’s import of some products decreased for the first 10 months of this year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Customs Committee that country’s imports of vegetable fats grew by 8.8%, fresh fruit by 13.2%, butter, other dairy fats and pasta by 22.9%, tea by 2.1%, beef by 17.6%, fresh vegetables by 37.5%, passenger cars by 24.8%, medicines by 46%, computers, blocks and installations by 23.3%, ferrous metal rods by 1.6 times.

The decrease was observed on imports of the following products: wheat – by 16.7%, raw sugar and sugar by 18.1%, potatoes by 9.8%, poultry meat and additional products by 20.5%, cigarettes by 75.4%, ferrous metal pipes by 20.2%, rolled steel 8.8%, mineral fertilizers 5.2%, rubber tires by 17.8%, furniture by 23.8%, trucks by 7.8%, household air conditioners by 33%, polyethylene 24.2%, washing machines by 3.7%, squares made of ferrous metals by 12.0%, buses by 64.6%, household refrigerators 7.4%, cement and cement clinker 25.9%.
