December 14, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept of this year Azerbaijan exported 152,212.76 tons of tomatoes for $66.6 million to Russia.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that this is by 17.6% more in value terms and 14.8% more in volume terms compared with the same term of 2019.

For Jan-Sept 98.2% of Azerbaijan’s entire tomato export accounted for Russia (by 0.6% less against Jan-Sept 2019).

In general, Azerbaijan exported 154,980.2 tons of tomatoes for AZN 167.8 million for Jan-Sept 2020.

Starting from 10 December 2020 Rosselkhoznadzor imposed restrictions on the supply of tomatoes and apples from Azerbaijan to Russia.
