15,000th container transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad

December 14, Fineko/abc.az. The 15,000th container has been carried via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line.

ABC.AZ was informed at ADY Container LLC that the 15,000th container was part of a train that traveled via Turkmenistan-Turkey route.

The 40-foot container was delivered from the port of Turkmenbashi to the port of Baku by feeder vessel Silver Star, operated by ADY Container, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. Then, through the territory of Azerbaijan it was sent to Akhalkalaki railway station in Georgia, and from there to Turkey.

The 15,000th container in Turkey transported polypropylene. The transportation was carried out by ADY Container.
