December 17, Fineko/abc.az. The restriction of entry and exit to the territory of Azerbaijan and some districts, cities, public transport activities, including the Baku Metro, has led to a decrease in cargo transportation and passenger traffic.

Freight traffic for November of this year grew by 3.3% versus October 2020, but decreased by 26.7% against November 2020, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the monthly report of the State Statistics Committee.

As a result, in general, over Jan-Nov 2020 country’s cargo transportation fell by 19.6% compared with Jan-Nov 2019.

This November’s passenger traffic dropped by 5.1% against October 2020 and by 54.5% versus November 2019.

As a whole, for Jan-Nov 2020 Azerbaijan’s passenger traffic reduced by 40.5% against Jan-Nov 2019.
