Transport used by tourists when arriving in Azerbaijan

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. The number of foreigners who arrived in Azerbaijan for 11 months of 2020 observed a decrease, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

In particular, the number of arrivals from the EU member states declined by 5.9 times to 22,100 people, from the Persian Gulf countries by 4.8 times to 105,300 people, from the CIS countries by 4.1 times to 259,300 people.

69.7% of foreigners and stateless persons arrived in Azerbaijan by rail and by road, 27.9% by air, and 2.4% by sea.
