Scale of rallies in Armenia expand – protesters intend to set up tents


December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Protests in Armenia are growing every day.

ABC.AZ reports that in Yerevan the Armenian opposition, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, intends to organize general strikes and mass protests.

So, today at 3 pm a large rally of the opposition is planned. The protesters stated they would not leave the square until they had set up a tent and their demands were met.

Yesterday, a group of residents of Syunik district held a rally, trying to prevent Pashinyan's arrival in the district.
