China launches newest carrier rocket with five satellites into orbit


December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Today, China successfully launched into orbit the latest carrier rocket CZ-8 (Changzheng-8) with five satellites on board, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Television of China.

The launch was carried out from the Wenchang cosmodrome (southern province Hainan).

In 15 minutes CZ-8 reached a heliosynchronous orbit at an altitude of 512 km. There, five satellites separated from the rocket: one experimental vehicle and four private probes.
