Half of Georgia`s imported electricity comes from Azerbaijan

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2020 Georgia imported 1.27 bn kWh of electricity.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in report of the commercial operator of the electric power system of Georgia.

According to the document, 575 million kWh or 45.25% of this volume was imported from Azerbaijan.

Over the past 11 months the electricity transit from Azerbaijan in Turkey in the amount of 101.79 million kWh was carried out through Georgia.
