Azerbaijan to increase gas extraction next year – Forecast

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will increase its gas production up to 49,209 cu m in 2024 (by 22.68% more versus the forecast figure for 2021), ABC.AZ reports referring to the Concept & Forecast Indicators of Economic & Social Development of Azerbaijan for 2021 and the Next 3 Years, included in the budget package.

Next year the country is projected to extract 40.112 million cu m of gas, in 2022 - 44,423 cu m, and in 2023 - 47,889 cu m.
