Oil price falls, and Brent is at $50.94 a barrel

January 5, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are declining in Tuesday’s trading amid the expectations that the OPEC+ meeting will continue.

The meeting of the OPEC+ ministers was postponed for Tuesday (at 15:30 on Vienna time (18:30 pm)).

By 9:50 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.15 (0.29%) to $50.94 per barrel. At the end of trading on 4 January the Brent futures for March fell in price by $0.71 (1.37%) to $51.09 per barrel.

By 9:50 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February fell in price by $0.10 (0.21%) to $47.52 per barrel. Following the results of trading on 4 January the WTI oil futures for February fell by $0.90 (1.86%) to $47.62 per barrel.
