Work underway on 101 km long highway Fizuli-Shusha

January 5, Fineko/abc.az. It is planned that a new Fizuli-Shusha road with two traffic lanes and gravel surface will be built and put into operation for a short term.

ABC.AZ reports that the length of the prepared project of the construction of Ahmadbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha highway is 101.5 km. The total width of the new road will be 37.7 m.

The width of the main part of Ahmadbeyli-Fizuli-Shusha highway will be 21.5 m and will consist of 4 traffic lanes. Together with the spare lanes, the road will consist of 6 lanes.

The new Fizuli-Shusha highway starts from the section of the M6 Hajigabul-Bahramtepe-Minjivan highway - the state border with Armenia, passing through Akhmedbeyli village in Fizuli district, and runs through the territory of the Fizuli, Khojavend, Khojaly and Shusha districts liberated from occupation. The highway covers more than 20 populated localities in these districts.
