January 5, Fineko/abc.az. Bonus payments to investors in connection with the signing or execution of oil & gas agreements for 2021 are projected at the level of $456.5 million or AZN 776.05 million.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in Accounting Chamber’s conclusion on the budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan for 2021.

The indicator is by AZN 9.7 million or 1.3% more versus the performance figure for 2019 and AZN 8.3 million or 1.1% more versus the forecasted and expected performance indicators for 2020. Thus, according to the “Agreement on joint development and shared distribution of production of the deep-water part of the Azeri, Chirag and Guneshli fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea” dated 14 September 2017, payment of totally $3.6 billion is envisaged for 2018-2025, the payment of the 4th part of the bonus amount of $450 million or AZN 765 million is envisaged in the first month of 2021.
